Club Night Fleming Park 23/06/11

This is our Last Club Night at Fleming Park before the Summer break.

Come along early 18:45 for a Fartlek training run around the park. A steady run with several efforts built in to help with O Fitness. The Fartlek will take around 40 - 45 minutes.

We will then go inside to the usual room for a social;

Bring along your recent maps from events you would like to talk about.

I will be bringing maps from our recent trip to the Gower - excellent sand dune areas!

Also I would like to sound out views on setting up some coaching activities in the Forest over the summer.

The activities would be aimed at providing coaching on specific topics such as Aiming off, Bearings, Re-location etc.

Results for Summer Series Event 6 - Knightwood 18th June 2011

I hope everyone enjoyed today's event at Knightwood and that more of you got to experience the periods of sunshine than the occasional downpours. We had a good turnout despite the weather and it was good to see so many new faces. This is the first time the area has been used other than for street events and I think it is well suited to the Summer Series. My thanks go to Jean, Peter, Bill, Barbara, Norman, Andrew, Roderick and Christine (and her parents) for their help on the day.
