Directions: Follow the orienteering signs from Templars Way to the Busy Bees car park at SO53 4SD, grid reference SU420201.

Car Parking: Free. We are sharing the Centre with two football matches and a cricket match and have been asked to use the Busy Bees car park. It is then a 250m walk to registration and the start. Follow the red and white streamers through the pedestrian gate at the north end of the car park. Cross the road to enter the Leisure Centre area. The registration tent will be on the far side of the main building.

Terrain: The terrain is a mixture of woodland and parkland for the Yellow and Orange courses. For the Light Green there is also some urban (residential). Please take care when crossing roads. Both wooded areas have restrictions in place as it is ground nesting season. None of the woodland is particularly runnable so please don't be tempted to run through brambles or other undergrowth - it won't be worth it! The path network is poorly defined in places. The wooded areas are fenced. The fences are shown as crossable on the map however PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB ANY FENCES. There are deep ponds near to all courses. These are well marked on the map and clearly visible on the ground. If you have young children at the event please warn them to keep away from the water's edge.

Course details:

Yellow: 1.5km 14 controls.

Orange: 2.2km 15 controls.

Light Green: 4.8km 17 controls.

Under 16's competing on Light Green should be accompanied by an adult.  The Yellow and Orange courses are suitable for adventurous wheelchair competitors.

Facilities and Local Information: Toilets are available in the Leisure Centre - no muddy footwear please. There is a sweets and cold drinks vending machine in the Centre. Tea and coffee will also be on sale in the Leisure Centre. There are two football matches on in the morning and a cricket match in the afternoon.

Public Transport: There is a cycle/footpath from Chandlers Ford railway station. Head due west from the station for about a mile.
