Due to the school' earlier end of term there will be no club night this Thursday 1st April.

Club night will resume on Thursday 22nd April at 6.30pm.

As we are now in Summer Time then more outside exercises will take place.

Hampshire and IOW Sports Awards 2010

Members will be pleased to know that Jean Velecky was the winner of the Service to Sport category at the Sport Hampshire and IOW awards evening held last night (24th March) at Botleigh Grange Hotel and Conference Centre.

Jean fought off stiff opposition from a long list of 16, and a short list of 6. All six were interviewed by Roger Johnson of BBC South Today, before he announced Jean as the winner and presented her with the trophy.

Jean got in a plug for the permanent course on Southampton Common in describing her contributions to string courses and equipment for SOC over many years

Congratulations Jean it is well deserved.
