Dorset Coast Path Relay

Profile picture for user Dave Currie
By Dave Currie , 7 May, 2011

As mentioned at last night's AGM, please note the date of 3 September in your calendar for this year's Dorset Coast Path Relay. This fun event constitutes a team relay taking place along the Coast Path from Lyme Regis to Sandbanks. Each team member can run one or more legs and for any distance so the event is suitable for everyone and the more people we have the better chance we have of doing well. We'll be looking to pull together a list of names nearer the time. You can find further details on the event website.

Mayfield Park - Thank you

By Philip Cooper , 7 May, 2011

Thank you to everybody who came to help today - much appreciated.  An extra brownie point for Simon who came early to hang controls in the marshes!!

The compliments about the area, the map and the planning made the effort all worthwhile.  Thank you.

By 13.30 the stream had returned to normal and you could see the bottom, and the water was only 6 inches deep at 221 Rootstock!!  So next time the first start needs to be 5 hours after it stops raining!
