SOC members and friends are invited to take up an opportunity for more "O" delights close to home care of the Military League South, who are putting on an event using SOC's Dibden map.

Further details are available on the BAOC website.

Please peter.davis [at] ymail.com (email me) if you can help, any job preference and early or late shift. Many thanks as always and thanks to those who have already volunteered.

I will be standing down as the SOC Permanent Orienteering Course Manager (POCman) at the end of December, after over 6 years in the role.

For 2019 most of the 6 sites will just need checking and maintenance. I now have a very helpful team of POC helpers who regularly check their local POC.

All but the OSS have had new updated maps for 2018 with three new courses to accompany these maps. All to date have good stocks of POC leaflets.

If anyone in the Club would be interested in taking over from me and would like to know more about what the role entails then please either e-mail me or come and have a chat at the Highland Water event on December 2nd.

Thank you, Kieran (POCman)
