Transport: Netley Station is less than a mile from the park so please consider travelling by public transport. For those travelling by car, please use the normal park car parks. Payment should be made at one of the machines prior to departure and is based on car registration. Fees are: £2.20 up to 1 hour, £3.50 up to 2 hours, £5 up to 4 hours and £6 all day, and can be paid by cash or card.
Registration: Registration will be adjacent to the chapel in the middle of the open area.
Courses: There will be a yellow course suitable for juniors and beginners and a 40-minute score event. The score can be tackled as a regular score (as many controls as you can find in the allotted time) or, for a greater challenge, an 'odds and evens' score (in which you start with odd-numbered controls and, at a point of your choosing, switch to collecting even-numbered controls but can't swap back). Please note that the courses cross a number of the park roads so competitors who are not confident crossing roads must be accompanied. Full leg cover is optional but those on the score course may encounter some undergrowth! Please respect other users of the park: it can be very busy on a sunny day. Please also be aware that a dog show may be setting up for Sunday on the open area to the east of the chapel.
Dogs: Dogs under control are welcome in the park.
Picnic: Join us for a picnic after your run adjacent to registration. Please bring your own food/drink along with something to share with others on the table provided. There will be various garden games (kubb, mölkky, boules) or bring your favourite.
Other facilities: There are toilets adjacent to the main tearoom. The tearoom and the new cafe in the chapel both serve food and drinks. There is a play area and a miniature railway. The chapel restoration is now complete: the museum is free but there is a small charge to ascend the tower. See the park website for more details. The event will also be proceeded by the local parkrun.
